About Us
Four Doors was founded with a mission inspired by the Sikh tradition of seva—the practice of selfless service performed with humility and compassion, and without expectation of reward or recognition. Our name 'Four Doors' symbolizes the four entrances of a Sikh Gurdwara (place of worship), embodying the principles of equality, inclusion, and universal acceptance.
We've extended this concept into the community, starting with nutritious meals and water for our unhoused neighbors and expanding to providing hygiene products, clothing, and other essentials. Our volunteer-driven organization works directly in the community, meeting people where they are, serving with dignity and respect.
We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities regardless of their housing status, and we strive to create moments of community and connection along with meeting immediate needs.

Our Services
Four doors, four ways we serve our community with dignity and compassion.
We nourish by preparing and distributing fresh, hot meals and nutritious snacks including granola bars, chips, and fresh fruit to those experiencing hunger and homelessness in our community.
We provide clean drinking water and essential hygiene supplies including feminine hygiene products to help individuals maintain their health, dignity, and well-being during challenging times when basic necessities are often out of reach.
We offer weather-appropriate clothing and bedding essentials including shoes, socks, underwear, shirts, jackets, pants, sweaters, blankets, sleeping bags, and hats to provide comfort and protection.
We distribute life-saving naloxone and basic hygiene products while providing compassionate support to individuals facing health challenges, including those recovering from opioid-related medical emergencies and overdoses.

Join Our Mission
Four Doors operates with an all-volunteer team—no salaries, no paid staff— directing almost all funding straight to essential services for our unhoused neighbors while maintaining only the minimal operational infrastructure necessary for our work.
